1. “You can do it!” - Better competences for employmentPHARE 2006/018-147.04.02.01.01.303
The Labor Training and Consulting Centre carried out, between the 2nd of December 2008 and the 30th of November 2009, the project “You can do it! – Better competences for employment” Phare 2006/018-147.04.02.01.01.303, a project which is part of the PHARE 2006 grant for Social and Economic Cohesion – Human Resources Development, Active Measures for employment.
The project’s main purpose was the development of employment skills and readjustment to the labor market for the people who are working for employment in the rural areas and the people who work in agriculture and have small incomes. In the application for financial support there were suggested and accomplished the following results: 160 persons were advised and trained to develop their skills to find employment; 160 hours were spent on training for such skills to develop; 80 hours were spent on counseling individuals to develop such skills; 16 persons were employed within 12 months from the completion of the program; a course package was published online and on paper; a market research, which studied “The identification of the need for necessary skills and qualification in order to diminish the unbalance in the labor market”, was published; a job fair was organized; a seminar about career was organized; 5000 flyers and 5000 posters were printed and distributed; 160 diplomas that certify the participation in the project were issued.
The partner involved in implementing this process was The Ialomiţa County Employment Agency.

2. “Help Yourself! Active measures for the unemployed people in Ialomiţa”
Phare 2005/017-553.04.02.01.01.314
Between the 10th of January 2008 and the 9th of January 2009 the project “Help yourself! Active measures for the unemployed people in Ialomiţa” took place. It is a Phare Project 2005/017-553.04.02.01.01.314, financed by the European Union through the Phare Project 2005: Social and Economic Cohesion, Human Resources Development – Active measures for employment; the project’s main purpose was to supply services to ease employment for 120 unemployed people in Ialomiţa County, counsel and mediate through special methods, offering equal chances.
By the end of the program the following results were achieved:
- 120 people were offered counsel and information in modern techniques to look for a place of work.
- A research study entitled “Values, attitudes and conducts in the recruitment process and personnel management” was finalized.
- A Job fair was organized; an internet page of electronic mediation was modernized and brought up-to-date.
- 120 diplomas for participating in the project were issued.

3. “Educational workshop for the training and retraining of the work force in the profession of «wood processing machinery operative», code COR 8141”
Phare 2005/017-553.04.02.04.02.01.307
Between the 10th of January 2008 and the 9th of January 2009, S.C. Orizont S.R.L. in partnership with Labor Training and Consulting Centre organized the “Educational workshop for the training and retraining of the work force in the profession of «wood processing machinery operative», code COR 8141” Phare 2005/017-553.04.02.04.02.01.307. The project promotes lifelong learning which leads to a growth in the level of training and retraining of employees.
The project’s objective was to promote the competitiveness and adaptability of the existent work force at the execution level in the soliciting company aiming to increase work place productivity while promoting chance equality and confuting discrimination in the labor market by the correct and transparent implementation of a human resources project.
The following results were observed at the end of the project:
- 36 employees of the S.C. Orizont SRL company were trained and retrained in the profession of “wood processing machinery operative”, code 8141.1.5, level 1 of qualification.
- 35 employees of the S.C. Orizont SRL company were trained in the profession of “semi-processed wood products operative”, nomenclature code 8141.2.2 within those who completed the 1st level of qualification.
- A competitive managerial team
- 2 press articles, one for the opening and 1 for the closing of the project
- 100 copies of the publication that reports the primary activities of the project and the results it got in 12 month
- 71 qualification diplomas recognized nationally in the first year of execution
- 4 authorizations obtained for the courses organized in the professions mentioned in the base group 8141 (2 for the partner and 2 for the Solicitor)

4. “Adaptability through qualification”
PHARE 2004/016-772.04.02.02.01.01.308
The Phare project 2004/016-772.04.02.02.01.01.308 – Adaptability through qualification took place between the 22nd of January 2007 and 21st of January 2008. its objective was the development of the work force in order to make it more adaptable in the context of a competences deficit and in order to respond better to the need for evolution on the labor market.
The aim of the project was the training and the retraining of the employees in the construction sector with the goal of elimination the competences deficit generated by the innovation in technology.
The following results were observed at the end of the project:
- 1 authorization issued by the CNFPA through the Ialomiţa Commission of Authorization, which represented the legal accreditation of the course “drywall ceilings and walls fitter”.
- 1 course curriculum
- 1 teacher project
- 46 qualification certificates
- 1 study case
- 30 pamphlets which cover the study
- Advertising materials: 263 flyers, 50 posters
- 4 press releases
- 1 seminar

5. “Be Active! Active measures for the unemployed people in Ialomiţa
PHARE 2003/005-551-05.03.02.055
The program included 126 unemployed persons in Slobozia, Urziceni and Feteşti – who beneficiate of employment services. 25 of these persons found jobs after beneficiating of the training and mediation services. The planed and accomplished results of the projects are the following:
- an internet site of work mediation
- a textbook comprising of the material that was presented during the seminars and the opinion of the beneficiaries, which was printed in 300 copies
- a case study about the average employer in Ialomiţa which is used as an instrument to guide direct beneficiaries
- 3 job fairs organized during the execution of the project in Slobozia, Urziceni and Feteşti
- 6 press releases about the launching of the project, the web site and the job fairs in the 3 areas and about the closing of the project.
